Israeli forces briefly hold NGO staff working on solar Panels in Jordan Valley, confiscate their vehicle

JORDAN VALLEY, Israeli forces Tuesday stormed the Wadi al-Faw community in the northern Jordan Valley and held the Israeli-Palestinian NGO Comet-ME vehicle for a while before releasing its staff, except for the driver.

Moataz Bisharat, an activist, said that staff from the so-called Israeli settlement council, backed by the occupation army, stormed the residential community of Wadi al-Faw and briefly held a vehicle belonging to the Comet-Me Foundation along with the staff that was engaged in maintenance work on solar panels in the community.

The workers were detained for a while before they were released, except for the driver who was taken to the illegal Israeli settlement of Maskiyot. Forces also confiscated the vehicle.

The Comet-ME Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the economic and social empowerment of local marginalized communities in Area C under full Israeli military control, through material support and environmental sustainability.
