JERUSALEM, Israeli occupation forces today demolished two houses belonging to Palestinians to the north and southeast of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Israeli forces accompanied by heavy machinery broke into Wadi al-Hummus area in the town of Sur Baher to the southeast of Jerusalem and demolished an inhibited house belonging to the Rabaiya’h family. The house was built seven years ago.
Israeli bulldozers also demolished a house owned by the al-Ja’abari family in Beit Hanina town to the north of Jerusalem.
Using the pretext of illegal building, Israel demolishes Palestinian-owned houses on a regular basis to restrict Palestinian expansion in occupied Jerusalem.
