Israeli forces demolish two Palestinian-owned houses in a town near Hebron to expand settlements

HEBRON, Israeli occupation forces today demolished two Palestinian-owned houses in the town of Tarqumia, northwest of the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, in order to expand two illegal settlements, local sources said.

Suleiman Jaafra, an activist, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided an area near the illegal Israeli settlement of Adura and demolished two houses owned by the siblings Ibrahim and Abdul-Qader Jaafra.

He added that the land owners own legal papers that prove their ownership of the lands, noting that Israel aims to seize those lands in order to expand the illegal settlements in the area and link the settlements of Telem and Adura.
