Israeli forces Monday detained a Palestinian shepherd in the area of al-Mu’arrajat, west of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.

Hasan Malheiat, head of the Al-Baidar Organization for Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that Israeli forces detained Mohammad Kaa’baneh, 55, from the area of western Jericho’s Arab al-Malihat as he was grazing his livestock, and forced him to leave the lands.

Hundreds of Palestinians reside in the area of al-Mu’arrajat, and depend mainly on grazing in order to provide for their livestock but the Israeli forces and settlers keep escalating their violations against them.
