Israeli forces detain three Palestinians from southern West Bank

HEBRON, Israeli forces today detained three Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, according to local and security sources.

They said that the gun-toting soldiers rounded up a 14-year-old minor after subjecting him to body search and stripping his clothes at the entrance of the colonial settlement of Kiryat Arba‘ in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The minor was identified as a resident of Sa‘ir town, east of the city.

In Bethlehem district, the soldiers showed up at a house in Harmala village, east of Bethlehem city, forcibly entered and searched it and eventually detained another.

In Jenin district, the soldiers detained a resident of Qabatiya town, south of the city, from the vicinity of permanently-staffed Salem military checkpoint.

On Thursday evening, Israeli forces stormed a house close to the municipal plaza in the Old City of Hebron, forced the entire family out into open in the cold weather and ransacked the house, turning it upside down.

The soldiers manning the permanently-staffed Qalandiya checkpoint, north of Jerusalem, brutally beat a young man who attempted to cross the checkpoint and confiscated the keys of his vehicle.
