Israeli forces open fire on Palestinian farmers, workers along Gaza borders

KHAN YOUNIS, Israeli forces today opened fire on Palestinian farmers and workers along Gaza borders to the east of the town of Khaza’a, east of Khan Younis city, in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, according to sources.

Israeli forces, stationed at military towners and along the border fence to the east of Khan Younis, opened their heavy machine gunfire and fired tear gas canisters towards a number of Palestinian farmers working in their land, forcing them to flee for their safety.

Meanwhile, forces stationed behind the border fence opened heavy gunfire and tear gas canisters on a group of construction workers to the east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, east of Gaza.

A civilian’s car was reportedly hit and severally damaged by the tear gas canisters fired by the Israeli army.

No injuries were reported.
