JERUSALEM, Israeli forces Sunday raided the town of Anata, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, local sources confirmed.

The sources added that the Israeli soldiers raided the area of al-Salam in the said town amidst firing tear gas bombs.

They added that the soldiers surrounded a house, conducted inspection operations in the area as soldiers went on top of some houses’ roofs before seizing survillence camera foorage from commercial shops.

Meanwhile, the forces closed the Anata checkpoint and issued tickets for the Palestinian vehicled they held in the area.
