Israeli hospital dismisses Palestinian doctor for giving sweets to injured Palestinian kid

UM AL-FAHEM, The Israeli Hadassah Hospital has today dismissed Palestinian doctor Ahmad Mahajnah after he gave sweets to a Palestinian injured kid, who Israel accuses of carrying out a stabbing attack in the city of Jerusalem last month.

The hospital fired Mahajneh, a heart and lung surgeon and a resident from the city of Um al-Fahem inside the 1948-occupied territories, after he gave sweets to Ahmad Abu Quteish, a Palestinian injured minor who Israeli authorities accuse of carrrying out a stabbing attack in Jerusalem in October.

Activisits slammed the hospital’s decision saying it’s ‘an example of racisim against all Arabs and Palestinians,’ adding that ‘the incitement by Israeli media had the biggest influence in the hospital’s decision.’
