HEBRON, The Israeli occupation forces today closed the Bab al-Zawiya area and Beersheba Street that lead to the center of the southern West Bank city of Hebron in order to secure the area for the storming of settlers.

Palestinian security and local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces ordered all Palestinian shops in the vicinity of Bab al-Zawiya and Beersheba Street to shut down as settlers prepare to hold celebrations in those areas.

It should be noted that the occupation forces last night fired teargas bombs at homes in Jabal Jawhar area coinciding with the settlers’ storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque under the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays.

The settlers also set up tents in the Ibrahimi Mosque courtyard and Jaber neighborhood and turned the Rajabi and Jabari buildings into military strongholds.
