Israeli occupation forces detain 8 Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians last night during raids in the north and center of the occupied West Bank, according to local and media sources.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the Israeli occupation army detained three Palestinians after raiding their homes in the town of Silwad, while a fourth was arrested from his workplace in the city of Al-Bireh.

Two more Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tammun, in the northern province of Tubas, while another one was arrested by the occupation forces in Qalqilia.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli police arrested Ahmed Abu Khadija, a footballer of Jabal Al Mukaber Club, hours after he had been crowned champion of the Professional Football League.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at night-time, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
