Israeli occupation forces detain eight Palestinians from the occupied territories

RAMALLAH, Israeli occupation forces today detained at least eight Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

They said that undercover Israeli forces sneaked into Beit Rima village, northwest of Ramallah, and abducted a Palestinian man.

Israeli soldiers raided Ein Yabrud town, northeast of Ramallah, where they held a young man for several hours before releasing him.

The sources confirmed army raids in Turmus Ayya town, the area adjacent to the section of Israel’s apartheid wall in Beitunia city in addition to al-Bireh city, all near Ramallah.

Meanwhile, Israeli police rounded up a minor from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tur as reported by the Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli military vehicles stormed Abu Njeim village, east of Bethlehem, where the soldiers detained a Palestinian youth after breaking into and searching his family house.

In Hebron district, Israeli troops raided Bani Naim town, east of Hebron city, where they detained a man and seized 150,000 shekels in cash ($47,000) from his house.

In the northern West Bank, three people, including a former prisoner, were detained from Anabta village, east of Tulkarm.

The soldiers detained a 17-year-old teen after ransacking his family house in Shweika neighborhood, north of Tulkarm.
