Israeli settlers attack a private vehicle for transporting kidney patients near Nablus

NABLUS, Israeli settlers today attacked a vehicle carrying a number of dialysis patients, near Huwara military checkpoint, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

 

The head of the ambulance and movement at an-Najah National Hospital, Salim al-Damen, told WAFA that a number of settlers attacked a vehicle belonging to an-Najah Hospital while it was transporting a number of dialysis patients, adding that it happened when it was trying to pass through the Hawara military checkpoint.

 

He added that the vehicle sustained damages, but no casualties among the patients were reported.

 

Most of the patients are from villages south of Nablus.

 

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces imposed a siege on the governorate of Nablus, closing most of its entrances.
