HEBRON, Settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, attacked today evening staff of the Land Settlement Authority while they were working in Ash-Shuyukh town to the northeast of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, said WAFA correspondent.

A group of settlers from the nearby illegal Israeli settlement of Asfar, attacked with stones and clubs staff of the Land Settlement Authority while they were conducting a land survey in the Ash-Shuyukh town, causing one engineer injuries to the head. Israeli soldiers stood idly by and did nothing to stop the settlers.

Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
