Israeli settlers, backed by army, close entrances to Nablus-area village

NABLUS, Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli forces, closed today evening the main entrances leading to the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya to the south of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent.

A group of settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, closed the main entrance to the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya with their cars, as well as the northern entrance, and prevented Palestinians from entering or leaving the area.

Settlers reportedly gathered at the entrances to the village, dancing and singing in a provocative manner while raising the Israeli flag.
