Israeli settlers raze Palestinian land in northern Jordan Valley in apparent prelude to expand settlement

Israeli settlers today bulldozed agricultural land belonging to Palestinians in the village of Ein al-Baida in the northern Jordan Valley in what appears to be a prelude for taking over the land to expand their settlement, according to local activist Aref Daraghmeh.

He told WAFA settlers residing in a nearby settlement that was built illegally on Ein al-Baida land, stormed the area and proceeded to bulldoze agricultural land belonging to Palestinians in the town, despite the fact that the residents have ownership deeds, known as Tabu.

Meanwhile, five buses carrying dozens of settlers and backed by Israeli forces stormed and for the first time an area of an archaeological nature in Wadi al-Far’a village, in the Tubas governorate in the northeastern West Bank, where they performed Talmudic rituals.
