Israeli settlers vandalize two shacks near Salfit

RAMALLAH, Extremist Israeli settlers vandalized two shacks today for two Palestinian brothers outside the village of Kafr al-Dik in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources.

Mohammad Naji, mayor of the village, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers were seen by local residents vandalizing and ransacking the two shacks, located in an open area outside the village. The two shacks belong to Hatem and Farah Qasem, two brothers from the village.

Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace across the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.

There are over 600,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law and consensus.
