Israeli soldiers beat up activists taking part in a nonviolent event in Masafer Yatta

HEBRON, Israeli occupation forces today assaulted and beat up a handful of rights activists marching against Israeli colonization and apartheid at the entrance to the village of Al-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses and local sources.

Residents of the village, rights activists and international supporters took part in the march, during which they waved flags of Palestine and banners rejecting Israeli apartheid.

Rateb Jabour, a local anti-occupation activist, told WAFA that the Israeli attack on the march as well as previous such attacks will never break the will of the Palestinian people and their resilience and steadfastness in their own ancestral land.
