NABLUS, A Palestinian youth was injured tonight after being beaten by Israeli soldiers at Beit Furik military checkpoint to the east of Nablus, according to local sources.

Sources said that a youth, from Beit Dejjan village in Nablus, sustained injuries after being beaten by Israeli soldiers who were manning the checkpoint with the butts of their rifles, which necessitated his transfer to hospital.
