Jewish rabbi advocating demolition of the Dome of the Rock mosque evidence of intention toward Muslim holy site – PA

JERUSALEM, The Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem Governorate considered the publication by a Jewish rabbi of a picture of the Dome of the Rock mosque in Jerusalem with a call for an engineering expert in the demolition of buildings to remove the mosque from its current location and move it to another place is incitement and reflects the intention of the Israeli occupation government and settlers toward Al-Haram Al-Sharif (the holy sanctuary) compound in Jerusalem’s Old City where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque are located.

The Governorate denounced in a statement the publication of this incitement on the social media platform, Facebook, which it said is a racist publication because it advocates the destruction of historical places registered in the World Heritage List, not to mention their religious and spiritual importance for Arabs and Muslims.

“Would Facebook have allowed this publication if it came from a Palestinian party?” wondered the Governorate, explaining that Facebook would have immediately removed it under the pretext of violating its policies.

It called for exposing such practices and racial incitement by settlers who daily incite to kill Arabs, expel them, demolish their homes and religious places, and confiscate their lands.
