A joint Omani-Bahraini military exercise code-named 'Arabian Tiger' kicked off today in the training zone of the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar. The 10-day exercise is being implemented by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and the Royal Special Force of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The RAO is represented by the Musandam Security Force and the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) engineering, with support from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The joint exercise, which will continue until 18 September, constitutes part of RAO's training plans aimed to maintain high levels of performance and combat ability.
