The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs took part today in the 9th meeting of GCC Undersecretaries of Endowments and Religious Affairs, held in Doha, the State of Qatar. Oman was represented during the meeting by Ahmed Saleh Al Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The meeting discussed the importance of highlighting the real image of Islam and combating hate campaigns, fanaticism, extremism and sectarianism. It also underscored the importance of consolidating the bases of cooperation between endowment and religious affairs ministries and authorities.
