Kuwait city: Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, received Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, at Bayan Palace today. The visit marks an official engagement aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations. According to Oman News Agency, the Foreign Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. Sultan Haitham expressed his hopes for continued growth and prosperity for the Kuwaiti people and emphasized the desire for enhanced relations between Oman and Kuwait. In response, the Crown Prince of Kuwait extended greetings and well-wishes from the Emir of Kuwait to His Majesty Sultan Haitham. The Kuwaiti leadership reiterated their commitment to advancing the relationship and prosperity between the two nations. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to enhance joint interests. B oth parties affirmed the importance of expanding cooperation to meet the aspirations of their respective peoples. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, highlighting the necessity of enhancing regional and international cooperation to ensure security and peace. The leaders underscored the significance of Arab solidarity, particularly regarding key regional issues such as the Palestinian cause. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourliness Department, Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, Ambassador of Oman to Kuwait, and officials from both sides.
