Labour Ministry Hosts Workshop on Institutional Innovation and Change Management

A'seeb: The Ministry of Labour organized the 4th edition of a workshop focused on the 'National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management'. The event, held in the Wilayat of A'Seeb, saw the participation of 100 individuals from both government units and private sector establishments.

According to Oman News Agency, Safia Abdullah Al Harthi, an administrative development specialist at the Ministry of Labour, highlighted the workshop as an ambitious initiative, part of the Ministry's efforts since 2022 to advance the goals of the Oman Vision 2040. She emphasized that the 'National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management' is designed to empower competencies, transform challenges into opportunities, and foster a corporate culture agile enough to adapt to global changes.

The workshop featured video presentations detailing the 'National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management', including topics such as a Research Excellence Initiative, the practice of behavioral insights, and waste reduction strategies in Oman through Kaizen's approach to human resource development. Additionally, there were discussions on health, safety, and security within the work environment.

The overarching aim of the workshop is to boost integration across various sectors by developing an effective system for knowledge exchange and the transfer of best administrative practices, aligning with contemporary global methodologies.
