Major road in a northern West Bank village blocked by the Israeli army disrupting movement of residents

JENIN, The Israeli military today blocked with cement cubes a major road in the village of al-Jalameh, northeast of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, disrupting the movement of residents, according to the head of al-Jalameh village council Amjad Abu Farha.

He told WAFA that the army placed 15 boulders to block the road for cars forcing people, mainly workers in Israel, to look for alternative routes to leave or enter the village or to walk on foot across the barrier, causing big traffic jams in the village.

The army also closed a parking lot in the same area that accommodated more than 300 vehicles.
