MUSCAT: A conference focused on advancements in the care for premature babies commenced today, featuring an array of scientific papers and discussion panels. The two-day event, held in Muscat, is attended by a diverse group of professionals including physicians, nurses, and students, as well as individuals with an interest in neonatal medical specializations. According to Oman News Agency, the conference will present 19 scientific papers and host three discussion panels, each addressing critical aspects of neonatal care. Topics of discussion include intensive care and specialized support for premature infants during their hospital stay, as well as comprehensive care strategies following their discharge. The conference aims to elevate awareness regarding the unique needs of preterm babies and underscore the significance of providing continuous and comprehensive care to this vulnerable group.
