RAMALLAH, Minister Hussein al-Sheikh, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, said today that since the convening of the PLO Central Council earlier this month, Israeli media has launched an escalating media war full of defamation and incitement.

“Since the Palestinian Central Council took place and the call for national dialogue, the Israeli media has launched an escalating media war full of defamation and incitement with the aim of causing discord and chaos,” al-Sheikh said in a tweet.

He added, “This is evident that our unity is the painful weapon of the occupation and its poisonous outlets. This media war is a source of pride for us, and we are righteous.”
