Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, today chaired the second meeting of 2024 with the Governors. The meeting focused on significant topics aimed at enhancing municipal councils and advancing sustainable development goals across the governorates. According to Oman News Agency, key discussions included a proposal to organize various programmes and seminars aimed at developing municipal councils. The Minister emphasized the necessity of continued coordination between the governorates and relevant authorities to support the implementation of development plan projects. This coordination is seen as vital for ensuring enhanced communication with citizens and fostering community partnerships.
