Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index concluded trading today at 7,481.70 points, marking an increase of 15.2 points or 0.20 percent compared to the previous close of 7,466.53 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for the session amounted to RO 43,597,987, which reflects a significant decrease of 14.1 percent from the RO 50,748,629 recorded in the prior session. Meanwhile, the market capitalization witnessed a slight rise of 0.074 percent, bringing it to approximately RO 38.11 billion.
In terms of foreign investment, non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 6.314 million, constituting 14.48 percent of the total trading value. Their sales amounted to RO 6.151 million, accounting for 14.11 percent of the trading value. This resulted in a net increase in non-Omani investment by RO 162 thousand, or 0.37 percent.
