MSX 30 Index Sees Marginal Increase in Trading

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange's main index, MSX 30, ended today's trading session with a slight increase, closing at 5,710.38 points. This marks a rise of 4.7 points, or 0.08 percent, compared to the previous session's closing figure of 5,705.72 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the total value of shares traded reached RO 36,285,582, reflecting a 6.4 percent increase from the previous session's trading value of RO 34,089,116. The MSX official report further highlighted that the overall market capitalization experienced a growth of 0.091 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately RO 31.66 billion.

The report also noted the activity of non-Omani investors, who purchased shares worth RO 3,928,000, accounting for 10.82 percent of the total trading value. Conversely, non-Omani investors sold shares valued at RO 3,556,000, representing 9.80 percent of the trading value. This resulted in a net positive inflow of RO 372,000 from non-Omani investors, equating to a net investment flow of 1.03 percent.
