Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index concluded today's trading session with a slight increase, closing at 4,565.23 points. This marks a gain of 4.2 points, or 0.09 percent, from the previous session's close of 4,561.04 points. According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for the day witnessed a sharp decline, falling to RO 9,913,748. This represents a significant drop of 51.5 percent when compared to the last trading session's value of RO 20,422,042. The MSX report also highlighted a decrease in market capitalization, which fell by 0.119 percent from the previous trading day, settling at approximately RO 27.89 billion. Non-Omani investors were active in today's trading, with purchases amounting to RO 551,000, accounting for 5.56 percent of the total trading volume. However, their sales were higher, totaling RO 996,000, or 10.05 percent, leading to a net investment decrease by non-Omani investors of RO 445,000, or 4.49 percent.
