Muscat:The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed at 7,554.13 points today, marking a decrease of 2.8 points, or 0.04 percent, from the previous trading session where it stood at 7,556.89 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value fell by 17.7 percent to RO 32,509,203 compared to the previous session's RO 39,513,227.
Despite the decline in the index and trading value, market capitalization increased by 0.067 percent from the previous day, reaching approximately RO 39.41 billion.
Non-Omani purchases on the exchange amounted to RO 6,319,000, making up 19.44 percent of the total, while non-Omani sales were RO 5,957,000, or 18.32 percent. This resulted in a net increase in non-Omani investment by RO 362,000, or 1.11 percent.
