Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 4,612.52 points, marking a drop of 14 points (0.30%) from the previous session’s close of 4,626.57 points. Trading activity saw a significant rise as the trading value increased to RO 24,204,384, reflecting a 129.6% surge compared to the last session’s trading value of RO 10,541,670.
According to Oman News Agency, the MSX report indicated that the market value experienced a decrease of 0.081%, settling at approximately RO 28.47 billion. The report further detailed the activities of non-Omani investors, who recorded purchases worth RO 1,599,000, which accounted for 6.61% of the total trading volume. On the other hand, sales by foreign investors reached RO 1,790,000, making up 7.39% of the total trading volume. Consequently, net foreign investment saw a decrease of RO 191 thousand, representing a 0.79% decline.
