Abu dhabi: A petrochemical facility in Abu Dhabi caught fire in several locations after being struck by falling debris, following a successful interception by UAE air defense systems, authorities reported.
According to Oman News Agency, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) confirmed that plant operations were immediately suspended to allow for damage assessment. No casualties have been reported thus far.
