Muscat: As per the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, it has been decided that Wednesday and Thursday, 20-21 November 2024, will be an official holiday for employees in units of the State's Administrative Apparatus (public sector), other legal entities, and private sector establishments on the occasion of the 54th National Day. According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry of Labour issued a statement today indicating that employers may agree with their respective employees to continue working during the designated holiday, if necessary. It is stipulated that any employees who work during these days must be compensated accordingly.
