Newspapers Review: Israeli army crackdown on Palestinian protests, high number of injuries focus of dailies

RAMALLAH- The three Palestinian Arabic dailies – Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Al-Ayyam, and Al-Quds – published today highlighted the Israeli army crackdown on the weekly anti-occupation, anti-settlements Palestinian protests in the occupied West Bank and the high number of injuries caused as a result.

The dailies also highlighted the demand by members of the US Congress to investigate the circumstances of the killing of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
