After attacking homes and cars and setting them on fire in the northern West Bank over the past two days, Israeli settlers today chopped dozens of olive trees in the same area, according to a local official.

Ghassan Daghlas, an official, said settlers chopped 50 olive trees in land belonging to the town of Deir Sharaf, west of the city of Nablus, and owned by a local resident.

Settlers have been going on a rampage in the north of the West Bank without any intervention from the army.
