Occupation forces demolish four residential structures near Yatta

HEBRON, Israeli occupation forces today tore down four Palestinian-owned residential structures and razed a plot of land near the town of Yatta, in the southern West Bank province of Hebron, according to local sources.

Rateb Jabour, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that the Israeli occupation army demolished four shacks and razed a plot of land in the village of Susia, near Yatta, under the pretext of construction without a permit.

The Israeli occupation army also razed a plot of land in the nearby village of Birin, said Jabour, in order to open a settler-only road in the area.

Both villagers are located in Masafer Yatta, a congregation of more than 12 Palestinian villages which Israel is trying to empty of their Palestinian residents under the pretext that the area is designated as a firing zone.
