Occupation forces raid funeral house of slain Udai Tamimi in Hebron

HEBRON, Israeli occupation forces raided today the funeral house of Udai Tamimi, a Palestinian young man who was shot dead earlier this week by the occupation forces outside the Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim, according to local sources.

Witnesses said an Israeli army force broke into the funeral house, which was held in the city of Hebron, and forced the participants to leave.

Tamimi, a resident of the Shufat refugee camp in Jerusalem, had been at large for over ten days after allegedly killing an Israeli soldier and injuring another in a drive-by shooting at the Shufat checkpoint on Oct. 8.

He was shot dead on Wednesday night in an exchange of gunfire with Israeli army and police outside Maale Adumim settlement, east of occupied Jerusalem.
