Oil Rises as Supply Concerns Persist and US-Iran Talks Falter

Oil prices: Oil prices rose at the start of Asian trading today as concerns over supply continued, with negotiations aimed at ending the war between the United States and Iran appearing to stall. Brent crude futures gained 30 cents, or 0.29 percent, to $104.51 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 31 cents, or 0.32 percent, to $98.38 per barrel.

According to Oman News Agency, both benchmarks advanced about 2.8 percent yesterday (Monday). The persistent concerns over global supply and the stalling of diplomatic efforts between the US and Iran have contributed to the upward pressure on oil prices, reflecting the market's sensitivity to geopolitical developments and supply chain dynamics.
