Oman Air Resumes Flights to Zurich in Summer 2026

Muscat: Oman Air announced the resumption of its services between Muscat and Zurich, Switzerland, in the summer season of 2026, from May to September. This move aims to meet the rising demand for travel to this destination. According to Oman News Agency, the company will operate three direct flights per week from Muscat to Zurich on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 737-8 aircraft. This program complements Oman Air's schedule of winter flights currently being operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, at a rate of up to six flights per week from November 2025 to April 2026. Oman Air's network covers 11 European destinations. Mike Rutter, Oman Air's Chief Commercial Officer, stated that expanding Oman Air services to Zurich reflects the company's commitment to meeting the needs of travelers and offering them smoother and more flexible travel options. Rutter noted that Switzerland is one of Europe's key markets and serves as an integral part of Oman Air's growing network.
