Muscat:The Sultanate of Oman and the United Republic of Tanzania convened their first bilateral consultations meeting today in Muscat. The discussions aimed to enhance cooperation in various economic sectors.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs from the Omani side, and Denis Lazaro Londo, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade from the Tanzanian side.
The talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations, with an emphasis on investment, commercial exchanges, and logistics. Both parties also shared their perspectives on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Balushi, Head of the Africa Department at the Foreign Ministry, Maulidah Bwanakheir Hassan, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Oman, along with other officials from the two nations.
