Doha: Represented by Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Educational Quality Assurance, the Sultanate of Oman today participated in the 2nd meeting of GCC officials of Higher Education Quality Assurance. At the meeting, held in Doha, Oman was represented by Jokha Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Educational Quality Assurance. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest regarding the quality of higher education and academic accreditation across GCC states. Key issues discussed included a project proposed by the Gulf Network on the Joint Database for External Reviewers, as well as a project aimed at organizing training programs and joint field studies between the Gulf Network and entities responsible for ensuring the quality of higher education and academic accreditation.
