The 36th meeting of the GCC ministers of youth and sports committee was held here today. The meeting is hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

The meeting was headed by Dr. Madiha Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education. The Minister delivered the meeting’s opening speech on behalf of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.

The meeting included presentations of GCC ministries of youth and sports on enhancing joint GCC action in the youth field.

The ministers underscored the importance of initiating initiatives and proposals to enhance joint cooperation. Moreover, the meeting reviewed a spectrum of topics and approved several updated regulations for technical committees.
