After its 5/2 victory over the Kenyan team in the quarter-finals match today, Oman national hockey team qualified for the semi-finals of the FIH Hockey5s World Cup, being hosted by the Sultanate of Oman. The games are played at Oman Hockey Stadium in Al Amerat.

Oman will meet the Netherlands team in the first match of the semi-finals today at 8:20 pm (Oman time). The second match will bring together the teams of Poland and Trinidad-Tobago teams. Earlier in the quarterfinals, Poland defeated Egypt 2/1 and Trinidad-Tobago team beat its Malaysian counterpart 5/4.
