Muscat: The Omani-Turkish Business Council held a meeting to review ongoing preparations for the Omani-Turkish International Forum and Exhibition, scheduled to take place in Muscat from 15 to 17 December 2025. Held at the premises of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the meeting was chaired by Sheikh Salim Abdullah Al Rowas, Head of the Omani side in the Omani-Turkish Business Council.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting discussed the procedural plan, logistic, and marketing arrangements to ensure that the event would meet its developing trade and attracting investment. The two sides also discussed the 'Halal Exhibition', scheduled to be held later this year in November 2025 in Istanbul, and steps to organize a meeting of the Omani-Turkish Business Council during the same period.
They stressed the importance of Oman's participation, noting that it would offer an opportunity to highlight investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman, showcase the country's economic environment, and boost trade ties with Turkish and international companies.
Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the meeting of the Council coincides with the growth of the Omani and Turkish economies. He added that the meeting opens up new vistas for joint cooperation in the industrial sector and the sectors of energy, green hydrogen, construction, technology, and tourism, in addition to logistics services.
He pointed out that the Omani-Turkish Business Council constitutes a platform for strengthening investment partnerships, exchanging expertise, and generating opportunities for business owners from both sides. For his part, Sheikh Salim bin Abdullah Al Rowas, Head of the Omani side in the Omani-Turkish Business Council, said that the Council serves as a platform for converting the two countries' economic relations into strategic partnerships and high added-value investments.
