Palestine logs 537 COVID cases in past seven days

RAMALLAH, Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said in a statement today that 537 cases of COVID-19 and 626 recoveries were registered in Palestine during the last three days. No deaths were recorded.

In her weekly report on the coronavirus pandemic, Alkaila said no deaths from COVID-19 were registered in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip or occupied East Jerusalem.

A total of 6367 COVID-19 tests were conducted during the reporting period, with the exclusion of East Jerusalem. In the Gaza Strip, 215 coronavirus tests came out positive, while the West Bank had 177 new cases. East Jerusalem had 145 new cases.

The Health Minister said that in the West Bank, 21 patients of COVID-19 are currently hospitalized, of whom 12 are in intensive care, including 4 on ventilators.
