RAMALLAH, Palestine today recorded 305 new Covid-19 cases, seven fatalities, and 270 recovery cases in the last 24 hours, according to Health Minister Mai Alkaila.

Among the new 305 cases, 231 cases were recorded in the West Bank, and 74 others in the Gaza Strip.

She added in her daily report on the disease that 270 Covid-19 patients have recovered; 210 recovery cases in the West Bank and 60 others in the Gaza Strip.

She said that five of the deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, and two in the West Bank district of Hebron.

The recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.2 percent, while active cases reached 0.8% percent. The death toll stood at 1 percent of total infections.

Alkaila said 62 corona patients are in intensive care units, including 17 on ventilators.
