Palestinian farmers in south of West Bank prevented by Israeli soldiers from plowing their lands

HEBRON, Palestinian farmers in the village of Bureen, in the south of the West Bank, were prevented today by Israeli soldiers from plowing their lands, according to a local activist.

Rateb al-Jabour, active in the settlement and wall resistance group, told WAFA that soldiers raided the village and forced villagers plowing their 15-dunum land from continuing their work.

He said the illegal Israeli settlement of Bani Hefer is built on Bureen land and most likely the settlement intends to expand at the expense of more of the village lands.
