AROUCA, Palestinian footballer Uday Dabbagh, 23, who plays with the Palestinian national football team, is on his way to stardom after contributing to the victory of his team, Arouca, in its game played yesterday against its guest, Famalicao, by four goals to one in the ninth week of the Portuguese Premier League.

Center-forward Dabbagh, who was on the bench most of the game, managed to score the fourth goal for his team six minutes before the end of the game with a powerful shot from outside the penalty box.

Even though the first international Palestinian footballer Dabbagh, born in Jerusalem, played not more than 60 minutes during the past nine games, he has two goals to his credit after scoring the equalizer in a previous meeting against Pacos Ferreira.
