Palestinian freedom fighter serving two life terms in Israeli prisons begins 25th year behind bars

RAMALLAH, A Palestinian freedom fighter serving two life terms plus six years for his resistance of the Israeli occupation began today his 25th year behind bars, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

When Ahmad Kaabna, 51, from Jericho, was detained in 1997, his daughter Nisrin was two-and-a-half years told and his wife was pregnant with his second daughter Zahra.

During his imprisonment, he became a grandfather to two grandchildren, and he was also able to smuggle sperms out of his prison cell used to inseminate his wife artificially, who gave birth to a third daughter named Rafif, currently seven years old.
